You have arrived in the perfect place. Welcome to the School for Sacred Social Leaders.
Together, we are going to co-create some magic.
We are living through an unprecedented period of economic, social and environmental change in which a new form of activist is needed to guide and steward people and resources in innovative and resourceful ways. This new paradigm of sacred social leader guides through their unique expression of life; is deeply connected to earth, spirit, others and self; and embodies principles of energetic stewardship and sustainability.
Sacred Steward is a 16 week journey of self discovery that will help you:
△uncover your sacred social vision (the change you’re here to contribute to)
△ unearth your unique and magical form of leadership (just as you are)
△unlock your energetic blueprint – so you can express your vision across all areas of life, without burning out
△ step into sacred stewardship of your energy and resources (so you can start building a legacy that perfectly aligns with your values, gifts and vision)
△ embody a new form of activism and leadership centred on sustainability, connection + vitality.
Sacred Steward brings together an activating curriculum spanning deep ecology, holistic wellbeing, sustainable leadership, spiritual activism and human design.
It is a deeply empowering, personal journey in which you’ll uncover the key to your energetic mastery and the truth of who you are as a social leader.
Four years ago, I was 36 weeks pregnant with no job and nowhere to live.
I had spent nine glorious months house-sitting all around Australia – disentangling my identity from my career, healing my adrenal fatigue, starting my business and leaning into a location-independent lifestyle. I had done so much unlearning, so much questioning and so much expanding (literally and metaphorically) in that time.
But suddenly, on the cusp of the unknown, I found myself in a freeze state. All the conditioning. All the opinions. All the shoulds. They swirled in my experience, clouding my desires and removing me from the inner resources I had developed and cultivated during my time living outside the box.
It was a sliding doors moment.
You see, I desperately wanted to live in the country.
After 10 years working and living in Asian cities or manicured urban environments, my inner guidance system was leading me back toward green rolling hills and misty forest paths.
But I didn’t have work in the country. I didn’t have connections. I didn’t ‘know’ that I could succeed at life there.
My husband and I spent hours of agonising hours applying for jobs, talking to people, waiting for someone or something to tell us the decision to make.
I looked at inner city apartments which made my whole soul shrivel up. I applied for jobs that would mean a two hour commute in the morning.
The vision I held for my life – a vision of fulfilling work, of meaningful, impactful and purposeful days, of strong communities and vital health – felt like a pipe dream that I’d be worthy of having only after I had ‘done my time’ doing the things that were expected of me.
The days rolled on and nothing shifted. We stayed in my parents spare room.
I waited for one of the puzzle pieces to fall into place so I could make all the other decisions that I needed to make on the eve of bringing a new soul into the world.
It was like the universe was waiting for me to claim my desire and speak it out loud.
Finally, almost in a whisper, I declared that I was ready to make a move.
‘I want to move to the country’, I told my husband.
Three days later – we found a rental which accepted us immediately.
Four days later, my husband was offered a part time job up the road that he loved (allowing him to spend time with his daughter).
Three weeks later – in a birthing pool at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, I held my first daughter Millie in my arms. She was born in her waters, in the water, on St Patrick’s day.
My little lucky Pisces.
I learned through that experience that desire is magnetic.
Once I made that one vital decision, everything else fell into place around me. The ducks literally got in a line behind me, because I started walking.
Fast forward to four years later. I’ve since welcomed another daughter. I live on an acre of land that we own and that we are slowly regenerating and turning into a food bowl for our family and community. I work 15 hours a week doing consulting, coaching and education work I absolutely adore (and that is impactful and sustainable). My girls exist in a community and place in which they feel an incredible sense of belonging.
And those dreams of living a life founded on purpose, fulfilment, vitality, connection and stewardship haven’t just been realised.
They’ve been exceeded.
And … I’m just getting started.
What I have learned through this six year journey of re-defining what a successful, impactful, purpose-fuelled life looks like is this.
Fulfilment, purpose + leadership aren’t rewards to be received by working harder, gathering more university degrees, chasing more promotions or sacrificing your needs to be in service to others.
Leadership is the natural result of a life that lights you up, a life that fills you with purpose and aliveness. A life that mirrors your gifts and passions and values back at you. A life that gathers those that want to hear what you have to say, in the way you want to say it, toward you.
This course – the flagship course of the school – answers the question ‘is it possible to create social change, without burning out?’ with a firm, resounding ‘YES’.
Sacred Steward won’t teach you how to lead like me.
Instead, you’ll journey to the centre of yourself – to unlock and unearth the inner leader therein. You’ll not only uncover the tools and perspectives to thrive as a sacred steward of your unique vision. You’ll re-discover the unadulterated permission to be perfectly, joyously, yourself, in the process amplifying your vision and message with ease.
Over the 16 weeks, you will explore who you are as a leader, what the vision is that you’re here to steward and how to express your vision across all areas of life – without burning out.
Autumn – slow down, get quiet, store energy for the winter and find the pulse of your sacred social vision.
Winter – release old programming, trim the dead and dying limbs, collapse the compartments of your life and activate the pathways for your sacred social vision.
Spring – trace the roots of rebellion, build a strong and resilient root system and call in the resources required to express your sacred social vision.
Summer – claim your sacred gifts, expand into your most magnetic expression and master the art of communicating your sacred social vision with ease + resonance.
Sacred Steward is a deeply experiential journey
You’ll use earth wisdom, archetypes and human design as anchors to guide your inner quest – finding the true essence of your inner leader through story, myth, enquiry, mapping, embodiment and connection with other living beings.
